I’m behind on NaNoWriMo.
That’s the bad news.
The good news is I think I finally figured out what I’m doing with Alexa’s #UnderGlass prompt. Even more good news? I also think I know what I’m doing with my last story for the ‘She’s on the Bottom’ theme–it’s going to combine my last two prompts in a fun way… I mean, assuming I pull it off. Let’s assume I’ll pull it off 😉
After that I still won’t have hit 50,000 words for the month so I have a few things I’ll finish up (an old NaNo novel I never finished but really liked, for example) and I’ll also get all the stories I’ve written for this typed up and ready for sponsorship.
And then?
We pick a new theme.
I expect to start writing to the new theme around the middle of December. Given all the holidays and such progress will likely be slow until the new year, but every word counts, right? What’s more, I think I’ve narrowed the potential themes down to two choices. Broadly speaking they are:
Circus
Vampires
I mean, we’ll give whichever one I end up going with cooler descriptions when the time comes, but those are the two primary ideas I’m toying with.
